Fronted by charismatic lead vocalist Ash Costello, the gothic post-hardcore band New Year’s Day is releasing limited edition vinyl of their 2013 breakthrough album Victim To Villain.

The first ever vinyl edition of Victim to Villain features a 16×23 double sided poster and a gatefold jacket containing exclusive V2V-era photography of the band courtesy of veteran music photographer Jeremy Saffer.

“This record marks the true birth of New Years Day. It was the first time we came into our own as a band, with a vision and a new sound to show the world… it truly changed our lives,” Ash Costello states.

Victim to Villain was produced by Erik Ron (Panic! At The Disco, Saosin) and features guest vocals from Chris Motionless (Motionless In White). This special limited edition vinyl version was executively produced by Jeremy Saffer.

Jeremy Saffer comments, “I dug deep into the photo shoots we did together around that time to find and put together something special to go along with the first ever vinyl pressing of the album. It was awesome going down memory lane and looking through photos of them recording the album in studio, live photos around the release of the album and of course the actual photos which were used for album art.”

Saffer continues “We put something really special together for this vinyl release… it’s so awesome to finally see it come to vinyl and for it to be done right.”

Victim to Villain is now available for pre-order on three beautiful color ways including:

• Blood Red and Silver Swirl (200)

• Blood Splatter (300)

• Half Red / Half Black (500)

The first 200 pre-orders will receive a high quality 4×6 New Years Day photo chosen at random by Jeremy Saffer.
