The 60th Annual Grammy Awards was an eclectic mix of breaking new artists, social activism and songs of yesteryear.
Bruno Mars dominated, taking home three Grammy Awards for ‘Song of the Year,’ ‘Record of the Year,’ and ‘Album of the Year’ for 24k Magic.
The 60th Annual Grammy Awards was held in Madison Square Garden last night. Kendrick Lamar kicked-off the show with a compelling performance that was complemented by commentary by Dave Chapelle who also won a Grammy for ‘Best Comedy Album.’
The stars were out and it was a night of music, political and social activism as many stars and artists wore all black and a white rose in solidarity for the #MeToo movement along with racial inequality.
Overall the performances were fire, Lady Gaga looked and sounded stunning, tears were shed, joy and laughter was had and the Grammys have evolved.
