Young & Sick blends good vibes and even better grooves.

The Moroccan Lounge in downtown Los Angeles, CA was buzzin’ as the alternative pop artist took over the venue to perform “Letting Go of Giving Up” and “Oija.”

No time was wasted as Young & Sick leapt into the crowd and connected with his people. Tasty guitar licks, fresh beats and soulful sounds filled the room.

Accompanied by talented players Erin Fein (Psychic Twin), Dusty Ineman (Gardens & Villa), and Judah Nagler (The Velvet Teen), Young & Sick was amongst friends, family, and new found fans. The artist has been releasing music since 2012 with a debut album in 2014, before returning last year with his latest EP Ojai.

The single “Ojai” has been making waves. The song was recently featured in an Apple Watch ad while peaking over 640,000 plays on Spotify to date. In addition to his work as a musician, Young & Sick is also an accomplished visual artist making album artwork for Foster The People, Maroon 5, and Mikky Ekko.

Select art pieces were on display behind the bar providing a marquee background as patrons toasted whiskey sours and summer shandys.

Gratitude was given to all as Y&S wiped the sweat from his forehead with a sequined sleeve that reflected the energy of the crowd. Young and sick twentysomethings swayed with each song and relished in the moment and in the soul-pop vocals.
